Cookie Policy
This cookie policy was last updated on 29 July 2026.
1. Introduction
This website, portademar.com (hereinafter, “the site”), uses cookies and other storage technologies in your browser. Below we explain which ones we use, what they are for and how you can decide about them.
2. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small file that the site stores on your device when you visit it and which can be read again on later visits. In this document we also use the word “cookies” for your browser's local storage, because it raises the same questions and deserves the same treatment.
3. Categories we use
We group cookies into three categories. Only the essential ones are set without asking you; the other two require your consent and stay switched off until you give it.
3.1 Essential
They make the site work and remember your decision about these cookies. Without them the service cannot be provided properly, so they do not require consent.
3.2 Statistics
They let us know which pages are visited, how long people stay on them and how they reached the site, so that we can improve it. The information is analysed in aggregate form.
3.3 Marketing
They let us measure the results of our advertising campaigns and show relevant ads on other websites and social networks. These cookies may build a profile of your interests.
4. Cookies we use
These are the cookies and equivalent technologies the site may set:
| Name | Provider | Category | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|---|
pdm_consentimiento | Porta de Mar | Essential | 12 months | Stores your decision about these cookies so we do not ask again on every visit. |
_ga | Statistics | 2 years | Distinguish one visitor from another. | |
_ga_MDGE99JS99 | Statistics | 2 years | Maintain the measurement session state. | |
_gcl_au | Marketing | 90 days | Measure how effective our ads are. | |
_fbp | Meta | Marketing | 90 days | Measure how effective our ads are and show relevant advertising. |
The Google and Meta cookies are set by those providers, which act as third parties and have their own privacy policies. Both companies are based in the United States, so accepting the corresponding category involves an international transfer of data.
5. Giving and withdrawing consent
The first time you visit the site we show a notice where you can accept all cookies, reject them or choose by category. Until you decide, no cookie requiring consent is set. You can change your decision at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, just as easily as you gave it. Your choice is stored for twelve months; after that we will ask you again.
6. Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability over your personal data, and withdraw your consent at any time. Details of the data controller and of the procedure to exercise these rights are in our privacy policy.
